Floating Summer Lily

The Spruce Bog Trail in Algonquin Provincial Park is like an old friend – this year, though, it seemed a bit different. The water levels were down and the summer had been pretty harsh, resulting in some interesting changes. For instance, there were not as many dragonflies soaring about; on the other hand, the water lilies looked extra amazing. The dark water really adds an amazing level of contrast.
