It was a rainy hike in October of 2004. The bright side to rain is that when it abates, it leaves behind a nice misty landscape. This view was taken on the Booth’s Rock Trail. It was at about the halfway point, and essentially the trail runs along a cliff and you can look down over the forest, and in the distance you can see Rock Lake. It’s a great view. This picture was originally in colour, but it looks more haunting in black & white.
