September in the Distillery District of Toronto can yield some interesting images. In 2005, we visited this historic place and found a plethora of images to capture. This one is interesting because it highlights one of the many big windows in the area, which reflects some of the old buildings. It struck my eye as I walked by.
Something about reflections makes for a dramatic image – especially when looking at something that was built a long time ago. The distillery district is an excellent example of a part of our Torontonian heritage. Like it or not, alcohol is a part of our cultures. Each country has its own spin on beverages and people exchange ideas and recipes readily. It’s interesting to see people getting together and share ideas, especially when they taste that good.
