I am well-known for capturing images like this; I have quite a number, to be honest. I never get tired of this particular angle, though; and this time, I found a singular tree along the Spruce Bog Trail in Algonquin Park that was very interesting in the way that it had grown. The trunk is long and relatively branch-free, which reminded me of a natural tower of sorts, with the “main floor” being at the top. In any case, it is a stunning display – especially considering the spacing of the surrounding trees that make up the canopy.
