Macro shots are always fascinating as they really show things that we don’t normally see due to their small size. I was North of Belleville and taking photos in a beautiful garden, trying to capture bees and dragonflies. In my quest to capture the insects, I started noticing how awesome the flowers looked up close, so I started shooting those, too. Once in a while, the bugs would land on these beautiful flowers. This was one of my first experiments with extension tubes (36mm).
