I love cardinals. Even though they are common birds, their brilliant red feathers and pleasing songs make them an uncommonly beautiful bird in my opinion. This year there were a number of northern cardinals around the neighbourhood that would taunt me with their songs. When I had the chance, I would grab my camera and seek them out, attempting to capture them – on film.
