The vegetation along the High Line (New York City) is quite spectacular. On a recent walkabout in the city that never sleeps, I saw this cluster of Asters in the linear park that looked like they were watching over the path. The overcast sky and drizzle made for a neat composition that emphasized the guardian-like nature of these beautiful purple flowers, watching over their territory through the dampness of a cool October morning.
