My daughter and I took our cameras out for a walk along the Humber River in Toronto (since the winter conditions had subsided). The wildlife was out in full force. The sun was bright and the sky was clear, but there was still some thin ice near parts of the shore – clear, thin ice that allowed the ducks to walk on the surface without breaking through, if they were careful enough. This allowed us to get nice and close without having to worry about the current carrying our subjects out of frame.
